Por Pramuk to sue Buakaw & Thai Fight

By Banchamek , Sunday April 22, 2012

On April 19th, 2012, Por Pramuk leader, Au Rotejanaton and his personal lawyer, Mr. Weewan Sangsuriyachat, held a press conference to announce their intention to file suit against both Thai Fight organization and Muay Thai fighter Buakaw for failure to comply with the laws governing the sport of Muay Thai.

Au Rotejanaton and his lawyer contend that Thai Fight and Buakaw were in violation of the law when Buakaw fought in the ring with the permission of Thai Fight, but without the consent of the Por Pramuk camp. Both Thai Fight organization and Buakaw now face civil and criminal cases related to these competitions. The penalty under a guilty conviction for these charges could be a year in jail, a 10,000 baht fine, or both, along with the suspension of Buakaw's boxing license for a period of six months. As well as Sports Authority of Thailand are also being charge for not resolved any issues between Buakaw and Por Pramuk.
