This fight will take place in Tours, France on Saturday, March 17th, 2012.

Buakaw Por Pramuk and Fabio Pinca are certainly considered to be among the top ten Muay Thai fighters in the world.

Buakaw Por Pramuk has already won the K-1 World Max on two occasions (2004, 2006) and the Thai Fight tournament in 2011. For many Muay Thai enthusiasts he has been the best fighter for ten years.

Fabio Pinca won the WBC world title in 2009 and also won the Thai Fight Tournament in 2010.

El Hadj Mekedem has organized more than 20 events featuring many of the worlds greatest Muay Thai fighters. Before organizing this event, he wondered what fight he could bring to Muay Thai fans.

“Last year when Buakaw was part of my event we were sold out two weeks before the event! I know that this time it will be the same. That is why I have decided to work with MuaythaiTV to set up a live internet broadcast so the event can be shown all over the world. Now, the whole Muay Thai community will be able to watch this explosive bout!”

The two fighters agreed to fight under 68 kg (150 lbs) and per Nasser Kacem's (Fabio Pinca’s coach) request, weigh-ins will be conducted on the morning of the event.

Of Pinca, Buakaw said: “Fabio is certainly one of the best Muay Thai Fighters on earth now. He has defeated many Thai fighters, and even defeated the Lumpinee Champion by KO but…no matter what he does, as long as I am in Muay Thai the best ranking he can get is 2nd! I’m very excited about this fight. I know that it will be broadcast live all around the world and I will show my skills to all of my fans.”

After hearing of Buakaw’s comment, Pinca had this to say: “I’m self confident, the best answer I can give will be the one I give in the ring”. Fabio Pinca has always been very quiet and isn’t into talking before a bout. However, he does enjoy the challenge and knows that, with his punches he is able to end the fight at any time.
On many occasion in the past he has demonstrated that his skill level always rises to the occasion in any kind of situation.

Before the main event fans will enjoy a 4-men tournament featuring:

• Mickael Piscitello (France)
• Fares Bechar (Algeria)
• Super X (Thailand)
• Birth Kham (Cambodia)

Also a prestige fight:
